New Year #BodyGoals Resolutions! Have you set any specifically yet?
Today’s blog is very powerful and will completely blow your mind.
It’s about identifying the #1 thing that gets in the way of you reaching, achieving and most importantly sustaining your BODYGOALS. This was such a HUGE awakening for me last year when I put it together, if you’ve seen it before, watch it again! I spent over $1K getting certified in a course and the one thing I took away was this.
It’s not our resistance that blocks us, it’s our attachment to our habits that serve us in some way. Think about it, Resistance is removed by knowing. So, if you know what to do and not doing it…
Why are you still blocked and not where you wanna be?
To be honest with ya, I started making progress when I actually let go of resolutions and goal setting. Everything I learned about goals and willpower only threw me further down a rabbit hole. I was mentally, physical, and emotional defeated.

Yesterday I had a new student consultation and she asked me, how do you know all of this stuff? I said, I’m obsessed. I had to become so obsessed with finding solutions to have the results I, and most people, want.

You see, I had my dream body on the outside, but the inside I was a prisoners to food and SELF. I was a slave to the gym, and constantly obsessing about food. The relationship was not healthy nor desired. I couldn’t see myself living like this for much longer.. and I didn’t, I rebelled.
I remember saying at 19 years old, I’d rather be fat & happy than skinny and miserable.
I went pretty extreme at that point for 4 years (binge eating, food obsessing, gained 60-ish pounds in other words, I went 14 sizes up in pants, etc). The knowledge I gained there was that, feeling out of control, fat, insecure, tired, unhealthy was not desired.
At the age of 22 years old, I realized what I truly wanted was Food Freedom + Body Change, I wanted to feel in control again, yet Free and Liberated. Not gonna lie, it took me over 10 years with SLOW progress on how to do this but, I am where I am today because of my obsession with finding solutions to what I really wanted. I didn’t know if it was possible, but there was no other option in my mind. My most challenging obstacle was my ATTACHMENT to my Habits; Self- Sabotage.
After all, who do you really know that teaches this stuff (besides ME)? I had to figure it out on my own, and it took me over 10 years… THE TURTLE WIN THE RACE! lol. Today, I wanna fast track you and teach you how to be self-sufficient and TRUST YOURSELF again.
SIDE NOTE: Macro counting is not food freedom, point counting is not food freedom, measuring your food out is not food freedom, depriving yourself of what you love most is not freedom, taking diet pills and eating “diet food” is not food freedom (it’s abuse), trust me I know. Fearing to eat certain foods (some of your favorite foods) is NOT Food Freedom.
I’m very fortune to have emerged myself into a career where I’m able to obsessively study, implement, and work with students all centered around the ins-outs of Looking, Feeling & Showing up in Life as your Best-Self.
At the end of the day, Self-Care is the Gateway to Self-LOVE. Self-Love is the Foundation to SUCCESS in everything and anything you do in your life.
