I’m a chick who loves to shop. For me it’s all about the brand names and designer jewelry. My purses - only Rocawear. My clothes - only the best. And everything else has to be top notch and in style.

I guess you can call me a materialistic girl. I can’t help but be one. We live in a world where it’s all about brand names and what you wear. I know…how sad. But think about it…how much “designer” or “brand” items do you own? I’m sure you have plenty yourself without even noticing it (that included Nike and Adidas too).

I haven’t had a chance to update this week, but I came here to tell you the exciting news that I had my baby. He was born on Monday November 12 at 3:33 a.m. The labour only lasted a few minutes which was great because I was expecting much worse!!

This week has already been a blast as being a mother. I love him soooo much and he’s just so adorable!! Here’s a photo of him that was taken recently.

I finally went into my 9th month of pregnancy last week. I’m really nervous now since my due date is only 3 weeks away. OMG!! I can’t believe it. All this time carrying him in my womb and now he’s going to be coming out into the world. It will be a day I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to hold him and take photos so I can show you all my new born baby boy. *sigh…wonders what he looks like*

The end of October is nearing so quickly. I can’t imagine what next month is going to be like, especially since the baby will be born by then. It should be interesting because it’ll be my first time being a mom and doing motherly things.

I’m a little nervous though. Many questions are still running through my head such as: Will my baby like me? Will I be a good mother? etc…I’m sure every first mother thinks of a million questions regarding their newborn baby. I’m no different.

On with other news. Next week is my sister Tina’s 22nd birthday. I don’t even know what I’m going to get her. *you hear that Tina, I have no clue* LOL!!! I’ll just have to look around and see what I come up with because I won’t be posting my ideas here since she stops by. Hahaha

Geeze, it seems that I can never take a break. My baby is constantly on the move and kicking. It’s really crazy. Even at night…it’s non-stop moving. Sometimes it freaks me out just like it did to my dog while she was laying beside my belly. The baby kicked and she felt it. She then stood right up with a funny look on her face. LOL!! It was one of those priceless moments. hahaha

There I am in the above picture. Next week I’ll be entering my 9th month of pregnancy. It’s crazy how time flies by. It feels just like yesterday that I was breaking the news to my sisters. Now that the entire world knows that I’m expecting a baby boy, I’m glad that the wait it almost over. Pretty soon I’ll be holding my first baby in my arms. I can’t wait for the day.

Eek…it’s the middle of October already!! Can you believe it?? I can’t…geeze…the days are coming now and it seems November is just around the corner.

I’ve been getting some last minute things before the arrival of the baby. I just bought this car seat/carrier at Wal-Mart today. It’s so cute! It’s going to take me a little while to read through the instruction manual and go through all the safety information. I want my child to be safe at all times!!

I forgot to post this awhile ago, but on September 26th, I entered my 8th month of pregnancy. Wow…the days are narrowing down now. Next month I’ll be having my baby. I can’t believe it!! I’m a little scared because I don’t know what to expect. Is the pain horrendous? How long do women go into labour for? There are so many questions running through my mind now.

I’ve got pretty much all the baby things ready and my overnight bag to take to the hospital. My parents even bought me new pajamas and slippers. They are sooo cute!! Damn…I don’t have a picture right now, but I’ll try to remember when I go back to my apartment because I’m staying at my parent’s house for the night.

Well, without further ado, here is my 8th month of pregnancy photo. See how much my belly has grown from my first month? Eek…I’m soooo fat now!!

Omg…I have totally sidetracked and haven’t updated for a week. Eek…sorry. I guess it’s because of school and life that is taking hold of me. I’ve been so busy with things and our apartment is getting crammed by the day.

Just yesterday my uncle gave us some couches (3 seater, loveseat, and single seat), a matching rug, and other stuff for our apartment. So everything is really tight right now. My boyfriend and I are looking into getting a two bedroom apartment. That way there is more room, plus once the baby arrives, he can have his own room too.

Wow, the days are narrowing down now. Only a few weeks left before he’s born. I’m a little scared but excited at the same time. I sometimes wonder if I’ll be a good mother and if this little angel who is growing inside of me will like me. Gee…I wonder what he looks like!! Will he have my eyes? his dad’s nose? Awww I can’t wait to see him!!!
