Yup…I finally put up a fresh new look on this site courtesy of my talented sister Tina. Thanks tee!! This place needed a little change. Now it looks a lot better and I’m totally happy with it.

Life has been pretty hectic these last couple of weeks. I can’t believe how big my baby boy is now. It feels just like yesterday he was born. Now he’s almost five months old!! Every day I see him growing in different aspects. Some from his hand motions to even his leg motions. He is quite the active little guy who is constantly moving around.

But of course, after a hard day of play and eating, there’s got to be a nap time in between. Thus, the photo below. Definitely a mommy-baby moment.

It’s been awhile since I updated with some real news from my life and some photos. Back in February it was my birthday…I turned 19 years old!! Yippy!! LOL!

Of course my family threw me a birthday party at my parents house. The best gift I got was a new laptop which I was really happy over!! The computer I was using before was so shitty and just plain horrible. Sometimes it wouldn’t even load properly. Not anymore cause now I have my very own laptop. LOL!!

Anyways…here are some photos from my birthday this year. Check out my son who was mesmerized by the candles. It was sooo adorable!!

Wow…I can’t believe how fast my baby boy is growing. It just seems like yesterday I was holding him for the very first time. It’s crazy how time flies. Just look at how big he is now in the photo below.

He’s definitely looking like his father more and more each day. It’s crazy how identical they are. One of these days I’ll post a nice family picture with the three of us. Then you can totally see who he looks more of.

I can’t wait until his curls come in. Then I can make him a little afro head. LOL! You can only see his curls when his hair is wet. I’m gonna love it when they come in completely even when his hair is dry. I think that happens when a child who is bi-racial is like almost one years old or something like that. I read it somewhere.

There are so many things I wonder about Marquis. Things like, “What will he look like in ten years? How will his voice sound?” and “What will his first word be?” Awwww…just thinking about it makes my mind drift away with all the possibilities.

This is my little angel below. His name is Marquis and he was definitely sent from Heaven. Goodness gracious. I can’t believe how long he is getting now in length. It seems like yesterday I was holding him in my arms for the very first time. Now I understand why people say babies & children grow up so quickly.

I have this photo blown up and it is now hanging up in my apartment. It’s just so perfect!! In case you’re wondering, the photography was done by my sister Tina. She’s great with stuff like that!! Thanks Tee!!!

Aww…Marquis got his first baby needles the other day. He cried uncontrollably and the whole doctor’s office and hallway filled with his screams. It really was traumatic for me too. I’ve never heard him scream and cry that much. Ever! I even wanted to cry too because I couldn’t calm him down. I felt so…hopeless.

He got two big needles, one on each thigh. I forget what they were for but I do have the little pamphlet to keep track of needles that the doctor gave me. He has to go back in two more months to get the second dose of both. I’m not looking forward to it because I know he’ll burst out and start crying again.

As you can see in the photo below, my little angel is very upset. I don’t want him to cry but I know he’s going to. There’s no stopping that from happening.

Does going to the doctor’s office with your baby get any easier as they get older? Any suggestions or tips on what to do would be very much appreciated. As you know, I am a first time teenage mother and I’d love to learn the tricks of the trade, especially making my baby happy. Thanks.

Yes…I know it’s extremely late but I can’t just skip over these two holidays and not wish you all it. LOL! So…

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

There, I got it out of my system now. Hahaha…Anyways, I haven’t been online for awhile because my computer is busted. So the only time I can update is whenever I go over to my parents’ house. So here I am and I actually remembered!! I’m surprised.

The design was modeled to represent exactly how I’m feeling and what I’m doing. “I’m bringin’ sexy back.” Yes…after spending way too many months wearing maternity clothes, it was time for me to change. I went out and bought a load of new clothing for myself. After all, I need to slim down and show my new physique.

I always say, change is good. You got to change from an old relationship, change places to follow your dreams, and change whenever you feel like you need to fix your appearance. Nothing wrong with that. We all change in some form or another. So…change is good.

I also wanted to thank those of you who congratulated me on the birth of my son. Thanks to… my sister, Donna, Jenn, Texas_JAM, and mummifiedx5.

I haven’t had a chance to update this week, but I came here to tell you the exciting news that I had my baby. He was born on Monday November 12 at 3:33 a.m. The labour only lasted a few minutes which was great because I was expecting much worse!!

This week has already been a blast as being a mother. I love him soooo much and he’s just so adorable!! Here’s a photo of him that was taken recently.
